A PERSONAL NOTE ON JAZZ....

The glory days of jazz...sadly I wasn't in the audience. Born too late.
Satchmo, Bird, Miles Davies, Chet, Dizzy, Sarah, Ella & Nina...yah. They
had it. Do enough of us appreciate what they were saying? Saying through that
fine music of theirs. That fine swooning, swinging, be-boppin, bluesy music.
That pure magic. Pure magic genius.

It ain't to late. In the jazz vernacular. No, it ain't never to late for jazz.
Let the jazz move you. Let it heat up your soul. Let your veins feel the
rhythm. Flow to the rhythm. Let the chromatic notes of the sax, the trumpet,
let that horn and the keys of the piano into your soul. Keep it comin
Marsalis. Cassandra's voice...ain't you heard it yet? Yah, she's got it. Man
has she got it. Fusion. Latin, African, finest Canadian, American & world jazz.
Ain't it fine? Gerry Mulligan playin it down that Lonesome Boulevard. And let me just
say, thanks for the jazz. Cause Ain't Jazz Great!
